I originally started working for Bell Northern Research as a co-op in 1990 and then became a full time employee in 1994.  Nortel changed quite a bit over the years while I worked there.  First,  BNR and Northern Telecom merged to became Nortel.   Later, in an effort to transition from a voice company to a data company, Nortel bought Bay Networks and renamed itself Nortel Networks.  I worked on numerous projects during my eight years stay (see table below)   My favorite accomplishment however was a skunkworks project known as NorPhone.
